The house has a charming modern-vintage vibe and is equipped with high speed internet, board games, a 65” flat screen TV with streaming services and air conditioning.


Outdoors enjoy the private deck, firepit and gas BBQ.  Check out our garden full of seasonal veggies ready for our guests to enjoy during their stay.

Enjoy hiking at Taylor Head Provincial Park, less than 15 kilometers’ away or pack a picnic for the ultimate beach day on Bull Beach.


A short distance from the property you’ll find the Sheet Harbour Art Park and historic MacPhee House. Take a leisurely stroll along the boardwalk and take in the Sheet Harbour Falls, the perfect Insta-worthy backdrop.


Stop by Sober Island Brewing Company’s Taproom and sample their signature craft beer made with local oysters, take in live music or soak up the sun on the waterfront beer garden.  Then head over to the Henley House Restaurant and Pub for lunch or dinner. 


Explore even further down the shore and take in the beautiful Liscombe River Falls Trail, complete with its own suspension bridge and waterfall. Further along the shore, you’ll find historic Sherbrooke Village.  The perfect day trip, you’ll travel back in time to the 1800’s while exploring the small shops and restaurants.

Check in time is 4pm.  Check out time is 11am.

There is a 2 night minimum booking July 1st to August 31, 2023.


We offer 100% contactless check in and check out. Guests will be provided a door key code prior to arrival in order to access the property during their stay.


Guests are encouraged to enjoy the entire property including the outdoor amenities at the marmalade motel.


The house is equipped with basic kitchen essentials.

Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay. There is a $50 per pet, per stay fee. We ask guests to pick up after their dogs and dispose of waste in the outdoor garbage receptacles.


Out of respect for the neighbours, we ask that guests keep noise levels to a minimum after 10pm.
